They feature the baddest MF'er to ever say MF'er, Samuel L. Jackson.

Except today, I want to know what's on your plate.

Your mental plate (said in my best Samuel L. Jackson voice).

What do I mean?

I mean what are you feeding your brain?

What TV show's are you watching?

What books are you reading?

Today's message is hitting very close to home. 

It's a personal one.

And today's message is...

Everyone has bad days. We all have days where it's hard to get out of bed.

You know those days. When it's cold. It's raining. 

And actually...

where it's cold and rainy is inside your head. It's cold and chilly in our psyche.

But here's the thing...

Just as the sun will come shining through. Even if it's after a few days. You will get through this. 

So everyone has bad days. 

But...

It's how you respond to them. 

Can you dust yourself off?

Can you get back up? 

Will you suit up and show up?
 

Do the work...

Quantity always comes before quality.

Wait. What?

Yes. You heard me. Quantity always come before quality.

Why?

Because to produce anything of quality you have to practice.

For instance...

From the time you were 6 or 7 months old you woke up every day with one goal. To walk!

But, the truth is...

It took most of us 5-6 months of practice. (i.e. falling down and getting up over and over and over again.) Until we could wobble.

We then continue to "practice" until the day arrived years later when we could walk with ease.

Listen... there is very little one-shot learning in life.

And...

Everything worthwhile takes loads of focused practice to get.

Often the best "life-hack" is to show up daily and do the work.
